1. Overview

Welcome to The Divsmith. By accessing or placing an order through thedivsmith.com, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before purchasing.

The Divsmith is a sole proprietorship operated by one craftsman in the United States. All products are handmade to order. These terms govern all purchases made through our website.

2. Handmade & Made-to-Order Products

Every Divsmith tool is crafted individually by hand. As a result:

  • No two pieces are identical. Natural variation in wood grain, color, and figure is inherent to the product and is considered a feature, not a defect.

  • Wood species may vary slightly in tone and character from photographs shown on the site. Product images are representative, not exact.

  • All orders are made to order. Production begins after your order and engraving information are received and confirmed.

  • Standard production time is approximately 1–2 weeks from order confirmation, not including shipping transit time.

3. Custom Engraving Policy

The Divsmith offers laser engraving personalization on all products. By submitting engraving information, you agree to the following:

Engraving Approval: The Divsmith reserves the right to refuse any engraving request at our sole discretion. This includes, but is not limited to, content that is offensive, obscene, defamatory, or inconsistent with The Divsmith's brand standards. If a request is declined, we will contact you before taking any further action on your order.

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of all engraving information submitted. Please double-check names, dates, initials, and any other details before placing your order.

  • Engraving is permanent. We cannot modify or re-engrave a completed piece.

  • By submitting your order, you confirm that you have the right to use any names, text, or content included in your engraving request.

  • Character limits apply to engraving fields. We will contact you if submitted text exceeds what can be engraved clearly and legibly on the piece.

  • The Divsmith is not responsible for errors in engraving content that were submitted incorrectly by the customer.

4. Orders & Payment

All prices are listed in US dollars. Payment is processed securely at the time of order placement. We accept all major credit cards through Squarespace Payments.

  • Orders are confirmed upon successful payment processing.

  • You will receive an order confirmation email. Please review it carefully and contact us immediately at hello@thedivsmith.com if any information is incorrect.

  • The Divsmith reserves the right to cancel any order at our discretion, in which case a full refund will be issued promptly.

5. Cancellations

Because all products are made to order, cancellations are only accepted within 24 hours of order placement, provided production has not yet begun.

To request a cancellation, contact us immediately at hello@thedivsmith.com with your order number. We will confirm whether cancellation is still possible.

Once production has begun, we are unable to accept cancellations or modifications to engraving content.

6. Returns & Refunds

Due to the custom, handmade nature of our products, we do not accept returns or exchanges on personalized items.

However, we stand behind our craftsmanship. If your order arrives damaged or with a defect attributable to our production process, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@thedivsmith.com with your order number and photos of the issue. We will work with you to make it right.

Natural wood variation — including grain patterns, color variation, and figure — is not considered a defect. Each piece is unique by nature, and these characteristics are part of what makes The Divsmith product what it is.

7. Shipping

We ship domestically within the United States and internationally. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout.

  • Production time (1–2 weeks) is separate from shipping transit time. Please plan accordingly, especially for time-sensitive occasions.

  • The Divsmith is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, or circumstances beyond our control.

  • Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the carrier.

  • For international orders, the recipient is responsible for any applicable customs duties, taxes, or import fees.

8. Wholesale & Corporate Orders

Wholesale orders for golf course pro shops and bulk orders for events and corporate clients are handled separately from our standard retail checkout. These orders are subject to separate terms confirmed in writing at the time of order.

Wholesale and corporate pricing, minimum order quantities, lead times, and artwork requirements are discussed directly with The Divsmith prior to order placement. No wholesale or corporate order is confirmed until both parties have agreed to terms in writing.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on thedivsmith.com — including photography, copy, design, and branding — is the property of The Divsmith and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without express written permission.

By submitting logos, artwork, or other materials for engraving, you represent and warrant that you own or have the right to use such materials and that their use by The Divsmith for engraving purposes does not infringe on any third-party rights.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Divsmith's liability for any claim arising from a purchase shall not exceed the purchase price of the item in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.

Our products are intended for personal use as golf accessories and keepsakes. They are not intended for any purpose that could result in personal injury.

11. Privacy

We collect only the information necessary to process and fulfill your order. Your personal information is never sold or shared with third parties except as required to process payments and fulfill shipments. For more information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

The Divsmith reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
